This is the only short in XXL from Old Navy and Gap that fits our teen for school and sport. Other kid shorts in XXL and adult XS are too big/loose. We had to try/order many this season. And this has the perfect length (why are kids and women athletic shorts always too short?), not too long for sports. It doesn't ride up. It has a zipper pocket to store things safely. It is light enough for hot weather, but robust enough for rough sport/playing. Only wished it would be available in more neutral teen colors, like navy, dark blue, dark green, grey, maybe a wave pattern, etc.
